Google's Search Generative Experience (SGE) now lets you make images and write drafts right in Google Search. You can create images by typing prompts, edit them, and even find AI-made images. Plus, it helps you draft documents for research. Currently, these features are for US users in English, making Google Search even more creative and efficient.

2/ Big Tech Struggles to Turn AI Hype Into Profits

Tech giants like Microsoft and Google are investing heavily in AI, but making profits remains elusive. The costs of computation and infrastructure make it difficult to generate profits from AI products and assistants even with subscription fees. For instance, even while Github Copilot is a paid product at $10/month, word on the street is that Microsoft lost an additional $20 per user monthly on average.

3/ Character AI rolls out group chat with AI characters

Character AI has rolled out Group Chat, a new feature that lets you chat with AI characters and real people in the same conversation. You can invite up to 5 friends and 5 characters to your Group Chat. It's currently available on mobile, and it's a step closer to sci-fi-style interactions. This feature opens up possibilities for collaborative storytelling, language learning groups, and more, offering an engaging and fun experience for users.
